About me
Life is rarely straightforward, and at times we all need support to see our way through difficulties, or to bring about changes. I offer a safe opportunity to work through the issues you are facing, collaborate in making sense of your experience & find ways to cope better.
I tailor therapy to your needs & resources, making use of my training in several therapeutic models to help achieve the changes you want to make. It's not unusual for issues or goals to evolve or become clarified as we progress, or for you to be unsure and find them difficult to articulate at first. Our aim is to understand what's going on for you, and work out what's difficult & why. With that insight - often very powerful in itself - comes the impetus for making the changes you want, or simply expressing the feelings you need to.
I offer short & long term therapy to adults (18+) who can be self-funding or using a health insurance policy.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Psychological Society
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
