About me

I offer a warm and supportive space where you can begin to explore and understand your difficulties. We will work together to free you from negative thoughts, feelings and behavioural patterns that have taken hold leaving you feeling stuck, confused, and anxious.

Please feel free to browse my website to read my blogs on anxiety and more.

Training, qualifications & experience

I work as a counsellor and therapist in private practice in Dalston, E8. I have worked for several years in NHS Homerton Hospital as a psychotherapist.

I have experience of working with a diverse range of people in the voluntary sector, the NHS and in private sector. I have worked with people from a variety of different backgrounds and suffering from different psychological issues such as depression, chronic fatigue, anxiety and panic attacks, addiction (sexual, gambling, drugs), sexual abuse, trauma, grief and bereavement.
I have also volunteered for the Samaritans providing emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of distress, despair or suicidal thoughts.

I have gone through a five year intensive psychotherapy training at WPF, one of the leading training centres for psychotherapists in the country.

I hold a Post-graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice from Roehampton University.

I also have a BSc in Psychology and have done a great deal of research on human behaviour and mental health.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I abide by their ethics, standards and practices.
