About me
Are you struggling with life, or feeling overwhelmed in your personal or family relationships? Perhaps anxiety feels like a constant companion, or you have low self-esteem and find it hard to identify or communicate your needs. Maybe it even feels wrong or selfish to have needs at all. Does it feel like you’ve carried a lifetime of pain and distress, or that just existing is exhausting?
You might be looking for clarity or change, but don’t know where to begin, or if change is even possible. You may feel powerless or stuck in life - and that can be beyond frustrating.
What if I told you it’s possible to thrive, not just survive? How you feel matters. What you’ve experienced matters. Your needs are important - even if no one ever told you that.
Together, we can explore what life feels like for you and how you would like it to be. With curiosity and compassion, we’ll uncover why things might have been this way, and how these experiences impact your present life, your relationships, your body, and your well-being. We’ll examine past events, trauma (including relational trauma and childhood experiences), and current relationship difficulties. These factors often shed light on how we experience the world today, and they may even explain physical symptoms you’re facing.
Some topics might be painful or even feel numb, like “nothing to see here, move on.” You might have trapped or unprocessed emotions blocking your growth. But together, we’ll name and acknowledge your experiences, feelings, and get to the heart of the matter. Through this process, we’ll release emotional barriers and create space for understanding, empathy, and self-compassion.
The goal is to empower you with more choice, allowing you to create the life you want. You have the power and capacity to live a life free of constant suffering and painful symptoms. Life doesn’t have to stay the same.
Therapy is a journey, a gift to yourself, from you. Only you can make these changes. You have the ability to explore the dark and painful places inside you, but you don’t have to do it alone. Therapy is having someone by your side, walking with you through it all, holding hope for your healing and growth.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
