About me

I will provide a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space for you to talk about your thoughts, feelings and behaviour, and process any difficulties you are living with – or have lived through. Our time together is an opportunity to explore personal and relational issues in a safe environment, in which you will be heard. You can choose to use our time together to process, explore, heal, and learn more about yourself. I work in a non-directive way, so rather than telling you what to do, I will help you to explore the options available, so that you can be empowered to make your own decisions.

I am an integrative counsellor working across modalities (including Person Centred, Attachment Theory and Transactional Analysis). I work holistically, with a Humanistic philosophy, considering the person as a whole; for example, sometimes a physical pain or ailment can be our body’s way of communicating psychological or emotional distress – we will explore beyond the initial presenting issue or symptom, to gain an understanding of your complete experience.

I work with an awareness of Intersectionality, and the ways in which our "identifiers" - such as gender identity, race, age, sexuality etc can affect our experiences and the way we are perceived and treated by others.

It can be useful for us to discuss the goals you have for your time in counselling at our first session, to enable us to determine a focus for our time together (although these goals can be fluid, and change over time). We will periodically re-visit these goals together and discuss the counselling process itself, so that you can get the most out of our time together.

I am an LGBTQIA+ ally.

I am a neuro-affirming practitioner.

I engage in regular CPD events.

Sessions are available via zoom and in person. Contact me using the links above, and we can arrange a brief (free of charge) zoom call in advance of booking a first session, in which I can answer any questions you have, and you can let me know why you're interested in starting therapy.
