About me
Trauma and abuse can feel like an invisible weight, a shadow that lingers long after the harm is done. It may seem like healing is out of reach, but it’s not. The scars may run deep, but healing is possible.
Have you experienced trauma or abuse? Do you wonder if you’re also neurodivergent, autistic, ADHD, or otherwise wired a little differently?
Experiencing trauma and abuse as a neurodivergent person can be uniquely complex and deeply impactful. Neurodivergent individuals, such as those with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, or Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) may process, respond to, and express trauma in ways that are often misunderstood or overlooked by others, including caregivers, professionals, or peers.
You are not alone. Your experience matters. And there’s a space for you where healing and self-understanding can grow at your own pace, in your own way.
What to Expect from Therapy
No two people’s experiences or healing journeys are the same. That’s why I meet you exactly where you are, tailoring therapy to you as the unique person you are.
I’m an integrative therapist, trained in a range of approaches including Transactional Analysis (TA), Person-Centred Therapy, Inner Child work, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) tools, Gestalt and Trauma-informed practices.
In our work together, you can expect a safe, empathetic, and completely non-judgmental space to explore every part of your story. All emotions are welcome here, whether you need to cry, scream, shout, or swear. Every part of you is welcome.
About Me
Hi, I’m Beth, a trauma-trained psychotherapeutic counsellor.
As someone who has experienced multiple traumas and abuse and a diagnoses of ADHD later in life I understand the profound impact these experiences have, and the complexity of coping with trauma and neurodivergence. I create a personalised, supportive space for healing that is unique to you.
Areas of Support
• Trauma recovery ( flashbacks, triggers, sleep disturbances and nightmares, avoidance, numbness and disconnect)
• Narcissistic abuse, gaslighting, sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse and their emotional effects
• Depression, anxiety, and self-discovery challenges
• Relationship struggles and personal growth
LGBTQIA+ & Neurodiversity Affirming:
I work extensively with LGBTQIA+ individuals and those with ADHD, offering an inclusive, understanding space.
Previous Experience:
21 years supporting individuals with life-changing illnesses and dialysis, deepening my understanding of the mind-body connection.
Breaking Free from Harmful Patterns
If you feel trapped in self-doubt, toxic relationships, or unresolved trauma, you’re not alone. Sadly, survivor’s often carry blame and shame, but the responsibility always lies with the abuser. Therapy can help you process emotions, gain clarity, and reclaim your strength. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
