About me
I’m Deniz, an Advanced Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist with a passion for helping people break free from the patterns that keep them feeling stuck or uncertain. My clients often experience anxiety, depression, or relationship conflicts, but may also be navigating identity concerns, trauma, or stress around neurodivergent traits. As a late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD individual, I understand how confusing and transformative it can be to learn more about yourself at any stage of life, and I offer a space that’s both empathic and firmly grounded in practical strategies.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, relational, and trauma-informed, anchored in Transactional Analysis (TA). This means I value genuine connection while also helping you explore how past experiences, family dynamics, and personal beliefs shape your present struggles. We’ll work together to improve your self-awareness, emotional regulation, and sense of confidence. Sometimes that includes psychoeducation—teaching you about how the mind works, effective coping tools, or ways to manage neurodivergence—so you can leave therapy feeling empowered to maintain progress over the long term.
I welcome individuals and couples from all backgrounds. Whether you’re grappling with anxiety or depression, struggling with a relationship, or exploring a recent neurodivergent diagnosis, I aim to meet you exactly where you are and adapt therapy to fit your unique situation. My goal is to help you find genuine relief from life’s stressors, deepen your self-understanding, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I currently offer sessions in person on Mondays in Chorlton (Manchester) and Tuesday through Friday in Hebden Bridge (West Yorkshire). If you prefer or require online therapy, I also offer remote sessions on those days. I invite you to reach out so we can explore whether I might be the right fit for you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
