About me

You
Life can often rush past us and we can forget about ourselves, who we are, and what it is we want and need, whilst everyone else in our lives comes before we do.
You might be realising that you want more from your life and for that to happen, changes need to be made. You may be on a journey of self discovery and trying to figure out who you really are.
Maybe you have realised it is something that is not possible for you to do alone, and that working out what boundaries you can put in place is something that you can benefit from.

Trying to get through these challenges alone can make us feel overwhelmed and unsure about who we are, and if change is even possible.

How I Can Help
I am an online counsellor who works to support clients in exploring their feelings so that they can feel empowered to see that change is achievable for them and that they are worth being put first.

I can understand how difficult it can be trying to fit everything into a busy schedule, especially now. Online sessions allow you to seek support, without the need for extra time to get to and from a session.

I will listen to your story to understand who you are as a person and the things that you want from life.
We will work together in a safe environment that will allow you to bring all versions of yourself without the fear of being judged, whilst creating a plan

My Style
I have a style that allows laughter and celebration, we will be able to cheer on the small wins as much as the big ones.
I have a laidback approach, that also offers reassurance, warmth, and creativity.

What Next?
I know that asking for and seeking help can be scary.
I offer a free 20 minute initial online video meeting, where we will be able to meet and see if how I work is a good fit for you. You will be able to ask any questions that you may have and talk about why you would like therapy.

If you are interested in working together, you can get in touch by phone, email, or via my website. I aim to respond to you within 48hours.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have spent my working life supporting children and young people who have experienced many challenges in their life.

I made the choice to become a counsellor in 2014 when I was teaching 14-16 year olds with behavioural problems. I felt that I wanted to do more, as they would become adults who would need support for what they had experienced in their lives.

I went on to get my degree to , a BSc in Counselling at The University of East London, to become aqualified Integrative Counsellor. I have been able to support those through the NHS IAPT programme.

I have had therapy myself on and off over the years, so I know what it is like to come to therapy and how nervous you can be when waiting for the first session or even the next session, once sessions have started.

I know what it is like to experience adversity, and have to overcome many hurdles in life.
