About me
Hi, firstly thank you for taking your time to come and read a little bit more about what I offer. I am a fully qualified Therapist, I work with Children, Young people & Adults.
I have worked with many clients facing different challenges. Through creating a secure therapeutic relationship, we have been able to explore areas that are causing them to seek help and guidance.

I thoroughly enjoy my role as a therapist and embarking on journeys with clients, no two people are the same. I come from a military background and have experience in many different cultures. I believe this has helped me in my role as a counsellor greatly. There is no judgment in our sessions. This is a safe space.
My modality is Person-centred counselling. This is a very gentle, non-invasive and empowering form of therapy. It is a journey where you discover your issues through your own mind with the guidance from myself. I understand that the world we live in is a very complicated place and no two lives are the same.
We all react differently and we express our emotions differently. I understand that this can be such a daunting time, the not knowing can really take over, not knowing who to talk to from fear of judgment.
In our sessions, we are both equal, I am here to provide you with a safe, calm and trusting environment to talk openly and freely and explore your feelings and emotions.

Training, qualifications & experience
I studied for 1 year doing my level 3 diploma in counselling and a further 2 more years completing my level 4 diploma, alongside that I did my placement hours with a Domestic Violence & Abuse Charity, I have also completed my own counselling sessions.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
