I am a trained and registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist and offer therapy services to adults, couples, parents and groups. I have extensive experience of working with a variety of different methods and approaches, these include; Transactional Analysis, Developmental and Attachment. I believe it is important to work with you as an individual and will combine the approach to best serve you.
Clients that tend to come to see me come from the local areas of Derby, Burton-on-Trent, Uttoxeter.
I have worked for the NHS, Manchester Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Centre as a Clinical Supervisor for CAMHS and as an Associate for a training company for businesses. I am currently working in the North West and Yorkshire areas as a Regional Therapeutic Manager with a Fostering Organisation, offering a therapeutic service, supervision and consultations for Foster Parents, Social Workers and Managers, as well as working in private practice in Foston, Derby.
I have particular experience of working with issues such as; relationships, parenting, trauma, depression, fostering, adoption, anxiety, anger management, sexual abuse, grief, bereavement and the Autistic Spectrum.
It is important for you to connect with your Counsellor/Psychotherapist and I will offer you a consultation for 30 to 40 to minutes initially at a cost of £30, to help you decide if I am the therapist for you. This will allow you to discuss your issue with me, understand how I work and for us both to decide if we would like to work together.
