About me

Welcome!

As a qualified and experienced psychotherapist and Practitioner Psychologist , I can help you explore and process emotional difficulties that might be preventing you from having the quality of life you want.

I can guide you to develop cognitive, emotional and behavioural strategies that will contribute towards preventing any further psychological problems as well as being more positive. You will be encouraged to explore both intrinsic and interpersonal problems and to develop new behavioral skills.

I work with individuals and groups in the Mental Health Sector. Psychotherapy is a process which is based on empathy, unconditional acceptance and understanding in a safe and confidential environment.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a B.A.B.C.P. accredited CBT , ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and REBT psychotherapist.
I am also a Counselling Psychologist (HCPC Registered). I have a BSc in Psychology and I have studied Social Psychology and CBT at MSc level.

I have been working in the Private  Mental Health sector over the last twelve years, offering individual and group therapy for a wide range of emotional problems such as Depression, Anxiety and Panic Disorders as well as PTSD, OCD and Eating Disorders. I am also the clinical lead of the therapy team.

Moreover, I am a fully accredited EMDR Psychotherapist, a psychological treatment designed to very effectively alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories.

I work with adults.  I adhere to the BABCP, AREBT and Association of EMDR ethical framework of good practice and I am committed to offering a high standard of professional therapeutic care.

I work using Cognitive behavioural approaches as well as psychodrama approaches to psychotherapy. I have been trained extensively in ACT therapy (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy).

In addition, I offer therapy in Greek.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, I am also able to offer remote therapy. This includes online and telephone sessions.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
