About me

Hi I'm Elle,

I'm a qualified, BACP/NCS registered psychotherapeutic counsellor offering online sessions, talks and workshops.

I am trained in many psychological theories and specialise in working with the mind and body, combining scientific evidence with body based practises.

I have experience working with many client groups including victims of abuse, neurodiversity, gender, kink and relationship diversity.

Aswell as my education I have my own story and have overcome complex trauma, social disadvantage and chronic illness to live a joyful and fulfilling life.

With compassion and non judgemental awareness I guide my clients toward healing and empowerment in a way that honours their hopes and goals.

See my Facebook page or Instagram - Elle Empowers for free informative videos on anxiety,  depression, empowerment and more ...... and to get a feel for what I do.

No issue is too small or too overwhelming to be processed and worked through, you might not know the way forward but I can help you get there.

I believe in the truly transformative power of great therapy, and I love what I do!

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

I work in a transformative way which deals with not only the symptoms of any issue or diagnosis, but also the underlying source. This means as well as a practical element, there is a much deeper and long lasting sense of peace and meaningful change.
