About me

Hello, I'm Carol, an integrative counsellor and therapist working F2F and online with adults who have experienced anxiety, low mood, end of relationships, life transitions, bereavement, historical trauma, relationship struggles, family dynamics, work-related stress, shame, anger and feelings of stuckness.

My aim is to create a compassionate and safe environment where you can feel at ease to talk and I can offer you guidance and support on your path of self exploration.  My client's perceive me as a genuine, compassionate, and insightful therapist who deeply comprehends their experiences and genuinely cares for them, offering empathetic and beneficial support.

Here are some of the ways I can support you:

  • To better understand your emotions, feelings and behaviours.  How they may be impacting your life and relationships in the here and now.
  • Developing and implementing coping strategies and practical steps to help you navigate your life's challenges.
  • Exploring ways to promote and build upon self-esteem, acceptance, confidence and kindness to yourself.
  • Assisting you in gaining a clearer picture of your identity as the beautifully unique human that you are.
  • Helping  you to foster self-awareness and clarify your needs.
  • To provide a non-judgemental space for self reflection and expression.

Together we can explore the issues that are challenging your daily life, your physical and emotional wellbeing.  With my support, you can make lasting changes for the future, heal from the past or find more meaning in you current circumstances

Choosing the right therapist for you is an important part of the therapeutic process.  Therefore, I offer a free 20 minute consultation to explore how we might work together.  This time will allow us to both decide if we are suited to one another in a way that will enhance your emotional wellbeing.
