About me
I have been a psychotherapist since 2013 and over the years I have developed a particular interest in working with people who find themselves in recurring, or unfulfilling relationship dynamics.
You might be finding yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships – feeling misunderstood, disconnected, or unsure why things don’t seem to work, in the way you’d like. Or perhaps something feels unsettled within you, even if it’s hard to put into words.
I offer a space where we can begin to explore these experiences together, at a pace that feels right for you.
How I Work
Often, these patterns have roots in earlier experiences. Together, we can explore how your past – particularly early relationships – may be shaping how you feel, relate, and respond in the present.
I work relationally, which means I pay attention not only to what you bring, but also to how we relate within the therapy space. This can offer valuable insight into patterns that may also show up in your relationships outside of therapy.
My approach isn’t about quick fixes. Instead, I support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself, so that any changes feel more meaningful and lasting.
What Can I Help You With
· Relationship difficulties
· Anxiety or low mood
· Feeling stuck or unfulfilled
· Low self-esteem
· A sense of disconnection from yourself
· Wanting to understand yourself more deeply
Relationship Difficulties
This might include:
· Repeating patterns in romantic or family relationships
· Difficulty with trust, closeness, or communication
· Feeling overly responsible for others, or not feeling valued
· Struggles with boundaries
We can explore not just what is happening in your relationship, but why – helping you make sense of your responses and to help you begin to relate in ways that feel more fulfilling.
Who I Work Best With
I tend to work well with people who are curious about themselves and open to exploring their inner world. You might want to understand why you feel or behave in certain ways, rather than focusing only on coping strategies.
Therapy can involve gently exploring your past, where relevant, to support change in the present.
