About me

Hello and thank you for visiting my page. My name is Carol Gallagher and I am a fully Accredited CBT Practitioner, EMDR practitioner and Accredited in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have over 20 years experience in working as a practitioner, supervisor and lecturer in CBT for Psychological Trauma and other mental health disorders.

My offices are located in Glasgow City Centre. I work with all psychological disorders including all anxiety and mood disorders. I studied at University of Oxford gaining PG in CBT for Psychological Trauma, a specialism in dealing with Type I and Type II traumas including Occupational Trauma, Trauma and Psychosis, Asylum seekers and refugees, childhood and adult traumas.

When people come into treatment, they come because they don't 'feel themselves' and need help and support to understand what is happening to them and to find more helpful ways to move forward with life.

If you would like to find out more, or have any questions, please feel free to contact me by phone or by email.

Wheelchair user access
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
