About me
Hello and a warm welcome to you.
I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where I can support you with whatever has brought you to counselling.
There are many reasons you might have chosen to seek out counselling. Perhaps your life feels hard right now and you need a space to make sense of what you are feeling and experiencing. You might be feeling stuck or that life is lacking purpose or fulfilment or feeling anxious or stressed and would like support to better manage these issues. You might be finding it difficult to make decisions and would like help to clarity your thoughts. You might need help to work out what to do next. Whatever your need is, I offer a warm supportive environment where we can explore these issues together.
I offer a holistic approach that is tailored to your individual needs. I work relationally, which means I see the counselling relationship as being especially important in our work together. As part of my approach, I offer a range of creative techniques, mindfulness, Humanistic Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focussed Therapy wherever these support your needs. I am a sensitive and caring practitioner and will support you to feel safe and comfortable to work with me.
I am a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work to the professional and ethical standards as set out in the BACP Ethical Framework. I attend regular supervision to maintain the quality of my work and ensure I am doing the best for my clients. I am fully insured and hold a DBS certificate.
Sessions
I offer individual counselling sessions, in person, telephone and via zoom. These can either be short term or offered on a longer-term basis depending on your needs. My counselling room is centrally located at Regus in Eastleigh where there is onsite parking and access to local transport links.
I know that seeking out support can be a big step and it is important to find a counsellor you feel comfortable working with. I offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation to answer any questions you might have and help you decide if I am the right counsellor for you.

If you would like to discuss how I can be of help to you or to book an initial session, then please contact me by phone or email and I will get back to you promptly.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
