About me

I specialise in mental health challenges and men's related issues such as barriers to intimacy, ED, low sex drive, pornography addiction, and relationship or social challenges. In psychotherapy sessions I provide a confidential setting that encourages you to reflect on your journey. We will explore the feelings, emotions and impact significant events have had on the way you experience day-to-day life. We will work through your thought process moving towards the version of you that you've always wanted to be. Who is that person? Are they confident in themselves? And, do they allow themselves to smile, laugh and be happy?

Mental health challenges and men's issues are far more common than you might think. Far less common is the number of men courageous enough to tackle these issues. The only way to overcome the challenges you're facing is to confront them head on. I know it takes a huge effort to do that but together, it can be achieved.

It's important you choose the right therapist for your needs. I work quite intensely and aim to empower you to have the tools to reach your full potential. At times, it might be hard work, you might need to take action, make changes and try new things. Are you ready to do that? Are you ready to grow into the best version of yourself?

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
