About me

Are you struggling with relationships? Is life too challenging? Have recent events left you feeling overwhelmed, confused and in need of support? The therapeutic relationship can provide you with the tools to discover your independence, increase your self-esteem, and set you on the path to improve your relationships with yourself and other people. By working together in a safe space, with an empathetic ear and a non-judgmental approach, you can take those first steps towards living your life in a more fulfilling and meaningful way.

Hi, I am Ariana. I understand the need to be heard. I am passionate about providing the right environment to listen, to support and to help people to take control of their lives. Experience over the years has provided me with the insight and tools to support you on this important journey. In my work, I follow the code of professional ethics of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am constantly expanding my knowledge by participating in training and conferences, and my work is subject to regular supervision.

You will find a friendly and creative approach when working with me. We are all different and because of this, I do offer a 15-minute free informal chat to see if this is the right choice for you. As an Integrative counsellor I can offer a wide variety of therapeutic approaches. Integrative therapy is a therapy that combines techniques from various therapeutic schools. The goal is to choose the right one for both you and the problem with which you come.

I have experience in working with stress, depression, anxiety, codependency, trauma, bereavement, life satisfaction, emotion regulation, and interpersonal relationships.

I work with adults and adolescents.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
