About me
Hi, I'm Angela. I offer online video counselling across the UK, as well as face to face /in-person therapy from my counselling room in Birchington (within a 10-20 min drive of Margate, Broadstairs, St. Peter's, Ramsgate, Thanet, Herne Bay, Whitstable, Sandwich area and Canterbury in Kent.)
I am passionate about helping and supporting clients move from a place of feeling unhappy, frustrated or anxious to ‘feeling better’. If you have an issue in your life or at work causing you upset, or a problem with your partner or family member or someone in your life or you’re feeling a bit lost or you've had a loss in your life. Everyone can feel overwhelmed after an overwhelming experience. It’s natural. When feeling overwhelmed, it can be good to talk this through with a counsellor. Everyone is different. Counselling with me could be the next step you can take towards 'feeling better'.
I am flexible & offer long and short term counselling and supervision and we go at a pace that suits you. We may end up laughing, crying, experiencing a whole range of emotions as we work our way through whatever it is that brings you to counselling. No judgements from me - all I ask is that you are honest with me as we navigate the journey together.
Online counselling and supervision suits those that appreciate the convenience and comfort of accessing therapy online, in your own home, at work or anywhere you choose.
No need for travel time and it’s easier to fit a session in during your day, in a lunch break, between work meetings, school pick ups or other life needs, or if you find getting about harder due to medical or accessibility reasons.
Face to face counselling and supervision will take place in my therapy room in Birchington. The room is furnished comfortably and separated from the house to ensure space, privacy and confidentiality. The therapy room has toilet and kitchenette facilities and is accessible via a gravel pathway followed by three steps (therefore unfortunately, there is no wheelchair access and consideration required for those with physical disabilities). The Counselling room is easily accessible by public transport with bus stops and train station within 10 minute walk and plenty of free parking in neighbouring roads.
If you think that I match what you are looking for in a counsellor then just get in touch with me and we can arrange a free no-obligation phone consultation or to book an appointment. We can then discuss together how I can help you to ‘feel better’. I look forward to meeting you.

Further information
Face to face counselling or supervision will take place in my therapy room in Birchington. The room is furnished comfortably and separated from the house to ensure space, privacy and confidentiality. The annex building has toilet and kitchenette facilities for comfort breaks. Regarding accessibility, there is a gravel pathway followed by three concrete steps into the counselling room; therefore unfortunately, there is no wheelchair access and limited access for those with some physical disabilities so further consideration should be discussed during the initial consultation call.
The Counselling room is easily accessible by public transport - nearest bus stop Canterbury Road/Epple Road a 4 minute walk away and Birchington Train Station a 12 minute walk. There is no parking available on-site but plenty of free parking available nearby in neighbouring roads (including Alpha Road, Cross Road and Epple Bay Road; however cars or cycles are left at the owner’s own risk.
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure they have any necessary medication with them at all times for any medical conditions for example, epilepsy, allergies (asthma inhaler or Epipen) and to be honest with the counsellor so that any action plans can be agreed together.
Additionally, I'm trained in offering online video counselling and supervision sessions and am happy to discuss the following options, such as telephone and email counselling with clients, if appropriate.
I can provide walk and talk counselling therapy in the Birchington and Westgate on Sea coastal areas, if the weather is fine and my diary permits. This option is available following at least two face to face or online video counselling sessions, depending on therapy needs and subject to accessibility and considerations. Happy to discuss.
