About me

Hello, I am a person-centred counsellor working with adults online or face to face in Cardiff.

There are many reasons why you might be looking for counselling, no reason is too small. If there are aspects of your life that you are struggling with, I can offer a safe and non-judgemental space for us to explore what is troubling you. Counselling will allow you to reflect and grow as a person.

How counselling can work

I offer a warm and supportive environment for us to talk about your feelings and anything that might be troubling you. I am here to listen and to support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself and your situation. It is very important to me that you feel safe and that you trust me, our relationship will be the foundation for all the work that we do together, I want you to feel respected, heard, and that you can be your true, authentic self.

As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that to understand what might be going on for you, we will look at who you are as a whole person, your own personal experiences, and how they have shaped your journey.

Through exploring your issues together, you will gain insight into your situation and clarity on how to move forward. We will look at your ways of reacting to things and how you relate to others and the world around you.

Sometimes, I use creative methods to enrich the therapy.

My clients say that they are able to gain new perspectives so that they can make informed choices on how to live and thrive. Therapy is a wonderful, but challenging tool of self-awareness and exploration, taking the first step into this process is nothing short of courageous.

Training, qualifications & experience

I qualified with a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.

I have years of experience working in care. I work for a counselling charity in Cardiff with a wide range of clients and presenting issues, alongside my private practise.

I have worked with clients facing depression, anxiety, bereavement, body issues, self esteem, amongst many other issues.

I am a member of NCS and abide by their ethical framework for counselling, I also attend regular workshops and courses to ensure that I work ethically and safely by keeping informed and staying on top of my professional development. I am insured and registered with the ICO. I receive monthly supervision.
