About me

Update September 2026: My practice is now based in Global Link, Dunleavy Drive, Cardiff. I am opening up more availability in November.

Hello, I am an experienced person-centred counsellor working with adults online or face to face in Cardiff.

There are many reasons why you might be looking for counselling, no reason is too small. However you are feeling, whatever has happened to you and whoever you are, talking really does help.

How counselling can work

I offer a warm and supportive environment for us to talk about your feelings and anything that might be troubling you. I am here to listen and to support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself and your situation. It is very important to me that you feel safe and that you trust me, our relationship will be the foundation for all the work that we do together. I want you to feel respected, heard, and that you can be your true, authentic self.

As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that to understand what might be going on for you, we will look at who you are as a whole person, your own personal experiences, and how they have shaped your journey.

My clients say that they are able to gain new perspectives so that they can make informed choices on how to live and thrive. Counselling is a wonderful, but challenging experience of self-awareness and exploration, taking the first step into this process is nothing short of courageous.

Training, qualifications & experience

I qualified with a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and I have been seeing a variety of clients since 2020.

Some CPD courses I have completed include:

  • Healing Trauma: Essential Strategies for Shame, Self-Loathing & Working with the Body
  • Responding to Disclosures of Sexual Violence - Purple Leaf Training
  • Trauma Informed Practise - New Pathways
  • Sexual Violence Awareness - New Pathways
  • Perpetrators of Sexual Violence - New Pathways
  • Vicarious Trauma - New Pathways

I have years of experience working in care. I work for two counselling charities in Cardiff with a wide range of clients and presenting issues, alongside my private practise.

I have been working closely with Victim Support, working with victims of crime and abuse. I have also worked with clients facing depression, anxiety, bereavement, body issues, self-esteem, amongst many other issues. I am also a bereavement counsellor for Platfform Wellbeing.

I am a member of NCPS and abide by their ethical framework for counselling. I also attend regular workshops and courses to ensure that I work ethically and safely by keeping informed and staying on top of my professional development. I am insured and registered with the ICO. I receive monthly supervision.
