About me

Welcome, my name is Amanda and I am a fully qualified integrative psychotherapist/counsellor. I work with individual adults offering an empathetic space for you to explore and make sense of your challenges, supporting you in feeling understood without judgements or expectations.

As an integrative therapist I use a range of therapies such as person-centered, CBT, and psychodynamic. I will work together with you to tailor our approach to therapy that sees you for the unique individual that you are, helping you to create meaningful and lasting change.

I am experienced in helping those with low self-esteem, inner child healing, managing anxiety & stress, coping with bereavement, depression, and those feeling generally unhappy with their lives. I also work with those who want to break unhealthy patterns or self-defeating behaviors, and improve their relationships with others and themselves.

All your data is stored securely and I am a registered member of the ICO, BACP and National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, as well as being fully insured, so you can be sure I will work with you ethically.

I understand attending therapy can be daunting, but I am here to support you through the process. As someone who has witnessed how life changing therapy can be, I would love the same for you.

It's important you feel an alliance with your therapist, and so I offer a free initial consultation which we can do over the phone to be sure you align with my ways of working and I can begin to understand your reasons for reaching out. This is so I can be sure I also have the right skillset and experience to best support you. The call will generally last around 15-20 minutes, and I will also discuss with you what our therapeutic contract would look like, confidentiality and I may obtain some personal information from you. I am of course happy to answer any questions that you may have about the process, or for you to share any worries or concerns with me.

If you are looking to take the first brave steps to accessing support, you can contact me through:

I look forward to hearing from you.
