About me
Hello, my name is Alice. Whether there is something specific you want to talk about or if you are just not feeling yourself right now, this is a great first step. If you are experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship troubles or anything else, I will look to provide a safe and calm space where we can work through your feelings at a pace that feels comfortable. I believe that the relationship between the client and the therapist is key to the therapeutic process and as a person-centred counsellor, I look to place you at the centre of our work together.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am qualified to work with both adults and children. Different therapies suit different individuals and we can work together to find a modality that feels the most helpful to you. With my core training in person-centred, I look to offer you a space of non-judgement, honesty and empathy. I have a Level 5 qualification in Play Therapy for work with children.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information
So that you can decide whether we might be the right fit for one another, I offer a free 20-minute assessment, where we can explore your or your child's initial worries and what has brought you to my page. If speaking on the phone feels a little too much right now, drop me an email and we can go from there. I am here for you.
