About me

Hi, I’m Alice, and welcome to my profile. Whether you have something specific on your mind or are simply not feeling like yourself, I’m here to listen. As an experienced counsellor, I am here to offer a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I am committed to helping you navigate through life’s difficulties. Using a tailored approach that fits your unique needs, we will work together to find the best path forward.

As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that the client-therapist relationship is crucial to the healing process, and I focus on placing you at the heart of our work together. I encourage you to explore different therapists to find the best fit for your needs, and I’m here if you’d like to try a few sessions to see if my approach resonates with you.

Sending warmth and strength.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a Level 5 trained counsellor, accredited by the BACP, and qualified to work with both adults and children. My core training in person-centred therapy enables me to offer a non-judgmental, honest, and empathetic space. I am committed to ongoing professional development, regularly exploring new therapeutic modalities to expand my skills. Together, we can find the approach that best fits your unique needs.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
