About me
Hi, I am glad that you are searching my profile. Speaking to a counsellor when you feel you are not able to cope can help ease the burden you may have on yourself.
I am a Registered Member MBACP of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by the BACP Ethical Framework. I can speak in four different languages such as English, Bengali, Hindi and Urdu. I am an Integrative counsellor. I believe that each person is unique and that no single approach to therapy can address the physical, social, emotional and psychological needs of all people. Life experiences are different for everyone and the integrative approach acknowledges these differences.
I utilise Person-centred approach integrated with a various technique of other therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Psychodynamic approach, etc. to suit a client’s needs and specific issues. By using this approach, I believe each client has the capability to live their life with autonomy and face future challenges. I offer an empathic, confidential, supportive space where you can be open and heard without judgement. I believe in building a relationship based on trust and acceptance, to enable you to explore your emotions and feelings, drawing on inner resources to live a fuller life.
Currently I am offering online video, audio and telephone counselling session. Each session is 50 minutes on a weekly basis.
Why do I choose online therapy?
Research shows that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy for various mental health conditions. Online therapy is affordable and convenient. I have seen clients through online and I have been able to build a strong relationship with them. The clients find online therapy is effective. Online counselling has several advantages. For example, you don't have to travel for the therapy sessions, you don't have to pay for travel, you don't need to wait in the therapist's clinic waiting area, you can have therapy anywhere in the world if you have an internet connection. Also, if you have mobility issues, online counselling helpful for you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
