About me
As an integrative therapist, I believe the process of psychotherapy can elicit excitement as well as anxiety-provoking feelings as you begin to make active changes in your life. Therefore, we will aim to collaboratively create a therapeutic environment that offers a safe, secure, and non-judgemental space for you. I look forward to helping you understanding yourself that little bit more!
How you might be feeling.......
Knowing where to start or how to tackle challenges can be overpowering, intimidating, and frustrating. Big problems are usually small at first, no matter how trivial they are, and it’s completely okay to talk about them!
My approach......
My approach is to support you in understanding the links and patterns that occur within your life and how you are shaped by them. Additionally, within my approach, I aim to explore how you interact with feelings and emotions and how your body can support you. I am a firm believer in ensuring that you are at the forefront of each session whilst creating a space that allows you to bring your whole self.
Working as an integrative counsellor, I will facilitate your journey towards self-discovery or creating changes that you want to make. This will be done by authentically listening to your concerns, feelings, emotions and thoughts. Together we will develop a plan tailored to your needs, preferences, and aspirations.
What the initial consultation will bring....
During the initial consultation, I will look to understand what brings you to seek out therapy now, what is currently happening in your life and how we can collaboratively work together. I will also introduce myself, how I work and my approach to sessions. The overall aim is for both you and myself to get a feel for each other and to take the first steps into starting the therapeutic journey.
Areas of interest.....
I specialise in clients that need support in: Race and Culture identity, Life transitions, Masculinity issues, Anxiety, Depression, Self-worth (including Self-esteem, Imposter Syndrome, Perfectionism), Somatic and Couples.

- PgDip Integrative Counselling and Coaching
- Foundation Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling Skills and Theory
- I worked as a low-cost counsellor during my placement at Headstrong Counselling.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
