About me

I'm an experienced and accredited counsellor/psychotherapist working with individuals and couples in central London and the southeast.  I work extensively with EMDR, a powerful tool for changing negative patterns of thinking and behaviour (one of only two Government approved therapeutic approaches).  I'm also a qualified supervisor for counsellors and therapists.

I believe that a life crisis, be it about relationships, addictions or feelings of anxiety or depression, can become a gateway for change.  Often it's the only time we're ready to make choices which will lead to the life we want.

My work is based on supporting self-reflection, compassion and understanding.  Through exploring thoughts and feelings, as well as your needs and desires, you will gain greater self-awareness and insight.  This will allow you to make choices that are more in alignment with your deepest desires and which will contribute to a more contented and fulfilling life.

I have a diverse training which allows me to tailor my work with each client according to their specific needs.  My qualifications include:  Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy (6 years), Diploma in Couples Counselling,  Diploma in Supervision, full EMDR training and accreditation, two-year Gestalt and one year Jungian training.  I have taught self-esteem courses for 10 years and have undertaken significant mindfulness training and lead a weekly meditation group in the southeast.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
