About me

I work one-to-one with clients on issues that they wish to address including, anxiety, depression, stress, problems with relationships, loss, and coping with physical health problems. The main approach that I use is Jungian analytical psychotherapy, but I am also trained in psychodynamic counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and mindfulness based cognitive therapy. The approach I use is tailored to the needs and preferences of the individual that I am working with.

Training, qualifications & experience

Qualifications: BA(hons) Psychology and Philosophy, PhD Psychology, Postgraduate Certificate in learning and teaching in higher education, Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling. I am currently a senior trainee on the Jungian Analytical Psychotherapy course and have trainee membership of the West Midlands Institute of Psychotherapy (WMIP), and the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC)

As a Psychodynamic Counsellor I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP), registrant on the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and also a Health Psychologist, Chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS), and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

My offices are on the ground floor, and accessible for people using wheelchairs. The location is in Birmingham city centre close to the Mailbox and Cube buildings. It is approximately a 10-15 minutes walk to New Street Station, or Fiveways Station.
