About me

Hi there, you made the first step where your healing journey begins. As a mental health specialist, my goal is to assist you with challenges related to neurodiversity, ADHD, autism, anxiety, stress, trauma, grief and depression. My approach combines person-centred counselling with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), tailored to your needs.

Drawing from my experience as a Reiki master, I incorporate mindfulness techniques into our sessions. This creates a safe space to express yourself and explore your feelings without judgment, and you will be respected and supported. In our therapy sessions, the focus is on understanding and connection, not on repetitive questioning. You are the expert of your own life, and my role is to help you navigate through the mental fog, empowering you to find your own clarity and direction.

Whether you're coping with the impacts of neurodiversity, dealing with anxiety or grief, or looking to improve your well-being, I'm here to provide support. My method is adaptive, compassionate, and always respectful of where you are in your journey.

Our time together is not just about making changes, but about making meaningful changes that lead to your personal growth. I offer therapy in both English and French and have conversational abilities in Romanian and Italian, ensuring that all my clients feel heard, valued, and hopeful about their journey.

If you're ready, let's begin this path together, focusing on the changes you seek and the growth you aim to achieve.

Training, qualifications & experience

My educational journey in mental health commenced with a Level 5 Foundation Degree in Psychology in 1996, complemented by a Degree in Organisation and Management in 1997. I deepened my commitment to holistic healing by becoming a Reiki Master in April 2018. In 2023, I broadened my therapeutic expertise with a Level 5 certification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), encompassing specialisations in Trauma-Focused CBT, OCD, and Compassion-Focused Therapy, alongside a Level 2 certificate in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for Borderline Personality Disorder. In 2024, I further enhanced my qualifications with a Level 5 Foundation Degree in Counselling.

My professional experience includes working with students and adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, self-esteem issues, cancer, stress disorders, OCD, addiction, child trauma, relationship abuse, PTSD, BPD, and more. This extensive practice underscores my dedication to providing personalised, evidence-based support, tailored uniquely to each client's path towards healing and resilience.

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
