About me

I'm here when you're ready to address repetitive behaviours, find relief during stressful times, uplift your mood, improve your sleep, and boost your self-esteem. Equipped with empathy and expertise, I'm prepared to support you through every step of this transformative journey. Ready when you are.

Forget the conventional therapy experience—no constant note-taking or being asked, "How does that make you feel?" repeatedly. Here, therapy is focused on fundamental understanding and genuine connection. You won't be met with homework you didn't ask for or guidance you didn't seek. Instead, expect genuine support and meaningful conversations.

You hold the expertise in your life. My role? To help you navigate through the mental fog to find clarity and direction. You've found the right place if you seek a therapeutic relationship built on honesty, judgment-free, and openness to embracing your unique story.

My practice spans a wide range of clients, from those grappling with the complexities of growing up to individuals navigating the challenges of ageing. I've provided support for people with ADHD, overcoming abuse and for individuals dealing with anxiety, stress, and grief, among other mental health concerns. Customising my support to fit your specific experiences and needs is at the heart of my approach.

This journey is about more than tackling issues—it's about reconnecting with yourself, harnessing your inner strength, and embracing the changes you seek. Using a blend of mindfulness and therapeutic techniques, I aim to facilitate your mental health journey, encouraging personal growth, resilience, and positive change.

My practice welcomes everyone. Fluent in English and French, with conversational skills in Romanian and Italian, II aims to ensure you feel heard, understood, and valued, regardless of your background.

Let's begin making sense of what you're going through and work towards the positive change you seek.

Training, qualifications & experience

My educational journey in mental health commenced with a Level 5 Foundation Degree in Psychology in 1996, complemented by a Degree in Organisation and Management in 1997. I deepened my commitment to holistic healing by becoming a Reiki Master in April 2018. In 2023, I broadened my therapeutic expertise with a Level 5 certification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), encompassing specialisations in Trauma-Focused CBT, OCD, and Compassion-Focused Therapy, alongside a Level 2 certificate in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for Borderline Personality Disorder. In 2024, I further enhanced my qualifications with a Level 5 Foundation Degree in Counselling.

My professional experience includes working with students and adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, self-esteem issues, cancer, stress disorders, OCD, addiction, child trauma, relationship abuse, PTSD, BPD, and more. This extensive practice underscores my dedication to providing personalised, evidence-based support, tailored uniquely to each client's path towards healing and resilience.

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
