About me

I work both online and in- person, at a location in Little Venice, London W9.

In todays complicated world, our lives can often take unexpected twists and turns. These can leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed, isolated and misunderstood. It can be easy to bottle up these feelings and not talk about them, perhaps feeling that no one would listen or understand, that confidences may not be kept, or simply that it wouldn't help anyway. But, deep down, we all know that talking almost always helps- if only we could find the right person to talk to.

Through psychotherapy, it is possible to make significant and beneficial changes in your life. As a fully qualified psychotherapist I can provide a safe space where you can feel comfortable exploring what is troubling you, and through this, gain understanding and insight that gives you the tools to make the changes you need.

As an intergrative psychothrapist, I am trained in a variety of different schools of thought- Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Existential and Transpersonal- and use a combination of these when working with clients depending on the presenting issues in the therapy at any given time. Counselling and Psychotherapy is very much not a 'one size fit all' process and the breadth of my training gives me a library of learning on which to draw on when working with you as an individual.

Depending on the client, I might also work with guided visualisations, artwork, breathing and other creative methods to help the client to connect more deeply with their inner wisdom. I have found these methods to be hugely effective and often an important part of the process.

Most importantly for me it is about creating a warm, nurturing and confidential space where you can feel safe to explore anything that you feel you would like to.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained as an Intergrative Transpersonal Psychotherapist at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in London, graduating with a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Additional information

If you would like to discuss the possibility of working together, I offer a free 15 minute video/ audio call to gain more insight into what you would like from therapy and if I can be of help.

After the phone call, if we are both happy to proceed we would arrange a more in depth assessment session, this would take the same format of a regular 50 minute session.
