About me

Welcome

Hello, my name is Tortie, and I am a qualified psychotherapist based in West London, offering online sessions via Zoom.

In today’s fast-paced and often overwhelming world, life can take unexpected turns, leaving us feeling anxious, isolated, or misunderstood. It's easy to bottle up these emotions, thinking no one will understand or that talking about them won’t help. But deep down, we know that opening up is often the first step toward healing — if we can find the right person to talk to.

Through psychotherapy, you can make meaningful and lasting changes in your life. As a fully qualified psychotherapist, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. In this supportive environment, you’ll gain insights and develop the tools to make the changes you need to move forward.

How I work

My training in Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapy has equipped me with a deep understanding of various therapeutic approaches. While I draw from key theories in Psychoanalytic, Humanistic, and Existential traditions, my practice is further enriched by a Transpersonal perspective, offering a holistic approach to healing.

Depending on your needs, I may use techniques such as guided visualisations, artwork, breathing exercises, and other creative methods to help you connect with your inner wisdom. I’ve found these methods to be highly effective and often integral to the therapeutic process.

Issues I have often worked with

·      Anxiety

·      Depression

·      Loneliness

·      Low self- esteem

·      Low self- confidence

·      Stress

·      Body confidence

·      Family dynamics

·      Eating disorders

Above all, my priority is to create a warm, nurturing, and confidential space where you can feel safe to explore whatever is on your mind.

If you’d like to take the next step, please feel free to reach out. You can schedule a free 20-minute introductory video call via the email link above or contact me on WhatsApp. During this call, we can discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have about the process and how I work.

I look forward to connecting with you.
