About me

A BIT ABOUT ME

I am an Integrative Counsellor and Talking Therapist dedicated to supporting a diverse range of clients in making positive changes, understanding emotions, and exploring behaviours. With over seven years of experience, I work with private clients in Ash, Aldershot, Normandy, Farnham, Guildford, and nearby areas. I offer both in-person and online (Teams/Zoom) sessions, with flexible day and evening appointments from Monday to Thursday (Friday/Saturday by arrangement). As a trained volunteer for the national bereavement charity Cruse, I have seven years of experience as a Bereavement Volunteer.

Being human involves thinking, feeling, and acting with clarity. Our thoughts can sometimes cause issues, impacting our emotions and behaviour. We may feel stuck, isolated, or anxious, and need someone to listen and help us consider and make changes.

Calming the mind has been shown to improve both physical and emotional well-being. Our brains, which store our thoughts and memories that influence our behaviors, need time to process information. I established Quietmindful Talking Therapy to provide a serene environment for you to explore your inner self and pursue positive changes in your life.

My counselling approach offers a calm, confident space for you to be heard and find the right tools and solutions. Together, we can re-wire your brain for new thoughts and habits, exploring strategies to reach your goals and quieten negative noise.

As your counsellor, I am here to listen without judgment and support you in the moment. Talking therapies like counselling are recognized for helping people rewire themselves and embrace positive change.

WHAT IS AN INTEGRATIVE COUNSELLOR?

Integrative counselling/therapy combines elements from various theories and techniques. It can include guided visualisation to calm the mind and help you gain clarity.

MY APPROACH & WHAT TO EXPECT

Upon receiving your initial enquiry, I will arrange a complimentary 30-minute telephone consultation. This session allows us both to ask pertinent questions and discuss the progression towards the first taster session, if desired.
The taster session functions as a standard session; fees are applicable, and it will be considered as session one. It will take place at my residence in Ash, Surrey (GU12), offering you an opportunity to experience the structure and feel of future sessions. There is no obligation to continue after the first session should you find it unsuitable for any reason.

I provide a flexible approach to our working relationship regarding dates, times, and the number of sessions. While it is recommended to begin with 6-8 weekly meetings, this is not mandatory. Further details are available on my website.

My practice operates from my home in Ash, Surrey (GU12) and with the option to work remotely. Parking is available directly outside or within close proximity to my residence.

NOT LOCAL?

I offer remote sessions via Teams, Zoom, or other platforms. You need a reliable connection and a safe, confidential space to talk without concern for privacy.
