About me

It can be daunting trying to find the right therapist, it takes a little courage but it can be very rewarding.

I offer face to face or online therapy with both young and older adults from two safe and private locations in Bewdley and Worcester areas.

Life can be very difficult and hard to manage at times and sometimes we find ourselves stuck not knowing where to turn. I am passionate about helping clients to feel less anxious, to increase their confidence, to improve relationships and find emotional balance with increased assertiveness. Often, we need support with stress relief and the ability to set boundaries, i can help to find resolution to past trauma and help you deal with grief and loss.

I work integratively which means i draw upon a range of counselling methods to meet your needs. We are all different and unique and i value that uniqueness. I have a flexible approach and provide a safe space to help us build trust so that together we can explore your concerns and collaboratively move forwards towards creating solutions that can work for you.

My integrative approach includes Humanistic, psychodynamic, gestalt and CBT techniques.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
