About me
What has brought you here? On a journey with neurodivergence? (undiagnosed, exploring, self diagnosed, diagnosed all welcome!) I predominantly work with autistic and/or ADHD clients. Wanting to explore OCD behaviours and tackle them? Regain control of your life? These are a few of my specialist areas that I work with and have adapted my therapy to be neuro affirmative.
I’m an integrative therapist which means I don’t think there is a one size fits all approach. Instead, I look at you as an individual; your environment, who and what’s around you, and tailor an approach which would be beneficial to you. I tend to use a mixture of the approaches below throughout our sessions.
A few ways in which I work are…Person centered, which is an important part of how I work. It looks into how situations are affecting you, understanding your emotions and responses to them.
Solution focused therapy, where we can break situations down into manageable chunks and set weekly - monthly goals that you’d like to achieve and work towards, this can help in breaking routines.
CBT, setting homework and worksheets that may help you to identify patterns and challenges in your life. I offer psychoeducation, learning about what’s bringing you to therapy. These are different approaches to therapy that might work for you!
I aim to hold your best interests, and care for your wellbeing at the core of my practice. I provide a safe, calm space where I can hold your emotions and story competently and be that space for you.

Further information
My work prior to counselling has been predominantly within primary care settings (Hospital and GP practice) where I worked within the NHS for four years. What does this mean to you? I have well rounded medical knowledge, you can talk to me about your health conditions without feeling the need to explain the condition or its process.
I also have extensive experience working with undergraduate & postgraduate university students as a Specialist Mental Health Mentor which provides both academic and mental health support.
