I am available for online counselling.
Hello, I am Pauline and I am a qualified counsellor and member of the BACP, I offer caring, non-judgmental and confidential counselling to enable you to talk about your thoughts and feelings or any difficulties you are currently experiencing.
If you are finding life a struggle at the moment and can't seem to cope or you have an issue that you are finding difficult to deal with, then I believe counselling can help.
I work with an integrative approach with a focus on the relationship between the client and counsellor, which I believe is fundamental to the success of therapy. I combine aspects of several models of therapy depending on the needs of each unique client. The aim of counselling is to help you talk about a problem and then work together to discover a solution that is right for you. I offer a flexible and thoughtful approach to each client’s therapy.
Counselling can help with many difficult situations and I have experience of working with a wide range of client issues, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, low self esteem, OCD, relationship difficulties, bereavement and loss and problems with anger. I also work with bereaved clients in a hospice setting.
I offer an initial session to explore your current concerns and expectations of counselling and I aim to answer any questions you may have, so you can then decide whether I am the right counsellor for you. There is no obligation to continue but if you decide to I offer both short-term solution based therapy or longer term therapy.
Please call or e-mail me.

I have also attended many CBT training courses; working with anxiety and depression.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
