Supervision details

I am a qualified integrative accredited counsellor and supervisor and work within the ethical framework.

I am aware that whatever stage you are in your counselling career working with a supervisor who feels right for you can be challenging and what you need from supervision can change over time.

I am here to encourage and support you  in your counselling profession.  I also offer support for those applying for their accreditation.

Finding a supervsior who is right for you can be difficult.  My aim is to develop a trusting relationship giving you a safe and confidential space to bring your client work, where you can debrief, gain insight and awareness and explore unconscious processes in your practice. Always with an awareness of the wellbeing and safeguarding of you, the counsellor and your clients.

I enjoy working with students or those just starting out on their counselling journey and also experienced counsellors who may need to find a new supervisor or decided they would like the challenge of working with someone new.

My sessions are online, via zoom, giving convenience and flexibilty.  I am also available to work in person from my office in Beckenham (Tuesday only)

I can provide specialist support when working with bereavement.

I offer concessions for student/trainee counsellors.

Please contact me to discuss any aspects of your supervision.

My fees from £50

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
