About me

If depression or anxiety are holding you back from reaching your potential and living in line with your values, if you are looking for practical coping tools and a solution-focused approach, please do be in touch. I am experienced in successfully treating depression, low self-esteem and all anxiety disorders including social anxiety, OCD, generalised anxiety disorder, panic and PTSD.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified, accredited CBT Therapist (British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies). I have over 20 years’ experience in the field of mental health, working within a variety of settings including voluntary organisations, HM Prison Services and 10 years in NHS mental health services, treating clients with anxiety and depression.

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
