About me

Welcome to your kind of Counselling

*** I am a Grief Recovery Method Certified Specialist covering all types of bereavement and loss, including suicide. I have a lot of experience working with suicidal people ***

If you are new to counselling, it can be daunting and scary; an unfamiliar room with a stranger, telling them personal things... What might come up? Can you cope with it?

It's my job to 'hold you' in this space and I'm very good at it.

Don't worry anymore - make the call.

Our trusting, therapeutic relationship is everything - we need to work very closely together. I am a very warm, empathic Counsellor, working with an open heart and open mind whilst steering you gently with professional integrity and clear boundaries.

That doesn’t mean that we won’t get the results. I’m very much a pro-active and solution based Counsellor and I am committed to sending you off on your way!

I am a Counsellor who will really hear you, and can help you rediscover your clarity, peace and strength; to feel more in control; to make positive changes; to be the best you, comfortable in your own skin, with true freedom in your chosen lifestyle. Reset!

You are a unique individual, and your therapy will be tailored to you. Working generally in a Person Centred way, with you at the centre, I will draw upon other modes of therapy to suit your needs.

I offer active therapy, and although I cannot give you all the answers, I will guide you to express difficult feelings, and support your emotional healing along the way to finding them.

Key details

Wheelchair user access
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

My counselling room is on the first floor, however the downstairs lounge can be used to accommodate a wheelchair. I have toilet facilities ( not accessible by wheelchair unfortunately), but no waiting room.
