My approach combines talking therapy, life coaching, hypnosis, NLP, CBT and psycho-education. I am trained in Integrative Counselling, Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Life Coaching and NLP.
I know that you are looking for help because you have a problem that is causing you pain. There are many reasons why clients come to therapy or life coaching and one thing is always true: you are suffering in one way or another and you want to put a stop to the pain so that you can continue living your life. You want to change "something" about yourself or your life and you don't know what that is or if you do, you may not know how to change it.
I believe that you are already whole and that you have strengths (internal resources) that are within you. You are just not able to access them yet, which is why you are looking for help.
I offer you a caring and safe space for you to explore your challenges without fear of being judged.
In my day to day helping activities, I draw on a wide range of helping modalities to facilitate change in my clients, offering a safe space to explore the issues that they bring to therapy. I believe that clients have all the resources they need to bring about clarity and healing. I compare my role to that of a midwife, helping clients to restore the connection to their inner thoughts and emotions, giving birth to a new way of being. Trained in the Integrative approach to counselling, I bring the wisdom of different schools of thought to the sessions, acknowledging that each client is unique. I believe that the “magic” of therapy is found in the safe space of the sessions and in the quality of the relationship between the therapist and the client.
I am a member of:
British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) - Individual member working towards registration and accreditation.
National Hypnotherapy Society (MHS)
British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) - Full Member
CIMSPA - The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer)
If you want to contact me to discuss working with me, you can send me an e-mail. At the moment, I am only working online. Please do send me an e-mail or contact me via this website and I will respond within 48 hours. We can then arrange to have a brief phone conversation.
So what happens in the first session?
Depending on the service you choose, the first session will be different.
I will ask you some important questions about your present situation: what is the problem that brings you to therapy? What is causing you pain? We will discuss your circumstances. We will then explore what you want to achieve, what you would like to get from our sessions together and we will create some desired outcomes. You will be able to ask me questions and we will draw a contract together.

Why I am not on Social Media?
My views on Social Media: I am not a fan of social media for many reasons so you won't find me on Facebook or Twitter. I do have an account for my professional contacts that I do not share with my clients and another for my clients on Instagram although you will not find much there at the moment as it is work in progress!!.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
