About me

Hello my name is Louise.  I am a qualified Counsellor.

When you feel isolated and lonely in a pain-filled world, counselling gives you a non-judgemental space and the time to talk through your own thoughts and feelings about your past and present experiences. I offer an empathetic space where you can feel listened to and accepted for who you are.

My Person-Centred approach to counselling means that I believe that you are the expert of your own life and so I don’t advise or direct you. The focus of the session is on giving you the space to feel understood, and allowing you to share how you are affected by what you are going through.  I hope that by talking about and sharing what you are going through, you will be led to see the best way forward for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • ACC Level 3 Pregnancy Crisis Counselling
  • CPCAB Level 3 Certificate in Counselling
  • CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

With my private practice I work with a range of clients in person, online and on the phone with different issues they are experiencing. I have volunteered with a charity counselling young people between the ages of 11-25.  I have previously volunteered in schools, mentoring young people with anxiety, and did training with a Pregnancy Crisis Counselling Centre. I have worked as a Bereavement support volunteer, working with clients on the phone who are experiencing grief.
