Let's make things happen!

As a therapist and coach, I empower you to gain control, resilience and calm.

Tell me about you?  What do you need from me?  How can I support you?

My clients come to me with anxiety, low-self esteem, they tend to be employed adults and want CHANGE and DIRECTION.

I am trained and educated in person-centred counselling to master's level, achieved an MA in anthropology and am training as a life coach.  My goal is to help you express what’s on your mind in the hope you can understand yourself, your life, relationships and goals more clearly.

Can we talk more about the type of therapy offered?
I offer humanistic person-centred counselling. I work in a creative way to find the best way of doing therapy with you. You just need to be open to being yourself and to letting me be myself with you. The talking, thinking, being and feeling guide the process.

What if I'm still unsure about what I'll get from therapy?
I provide the opportunity for you to find meaning in who you are and your life circumstances. This requires an openness and willingness on your part to explore aspects of your life that may be challenging and uncomfortable. I will stay with you as you walk that potentially life changing path and offer my skilled insight into helping you figure out the direction that's best for you. Are you ready for it?

Client Testimonials

o   "Hello, anyone wanting to grow as a person, feel they need a best friend or just someone who will support them regardless of the good or the bad then Lily is your lady, Her service has helped me change my life for the better, who I am as a person and helped me heal some of my past hurt and I will forever be grateful and I know you will too.  Thank you"

o   "Lily has been incredible, she has been there when ever I’ve needed, she has supported me in ways she’ll never understand and I am 100% grateful for her, I will remember lily for the rest of my life if anyone is lucky to have her as a therapist then they will be truly blessed and in the best hands, thank you Lily"

o   "Lily has been a wonder throughout the entire therapeutic process. I had a clear idea of what I was looking for from the get-go, both in approach and topics, and she incorporated everything perfectly. She made me feel heard in a gentle and understanding manner, while also challenging me in a way that allowed me to reconsider my approach to key topics without feeling judged. She took an active role, as I requested, and gave me some invaluable tools and exercises tailored to my needs. Without her, I would not have made the progress that I have, and I am truly grateful that I found her. I could not ask for a better therapist"

o   "Lovely, supportive, kind and accommodating. Brilliant experience with her so far and she picks up on things I haven't before which is great and eye-opening”.

o   "Lily, you helped me so much and I wanna thank you for listening to me and giving me advice. I learned a lot about myself and my emotions and I'm very grateful for that."

o   "Lily, thank you so much for our patience, kindness and advice and support throughout our time together. You have helped me more than I could have imagined, and I will be forever grateful to you for counselling."

o   "I've been working with Lily for approximately 8 months and admittedly was a little sceptical about receiving counselling and talking therapy, however Lily made me feel right at ease, fully understood my personality and gelled with me to make my counselling both an enjoyable and beneficial experience. I have been able to develop myself understanding and even learned new things about myself, which has been really beneficial to changing my behaviours and reasons to certain situations. I thoroughly recommend talking therapy, especially so with Lily, she's a fantastic listener with no judgement and just what you need when life gets tough.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
