About me

I am able to offer online/ phone sessions for children, adults and families, that is flexible and can fit around your schedule.

I offer assessment and treatment of children and adults for the purposes of understanding difficulties and developing a treatment plan. I work with a range of difficulties including, challenging behaviour, depression, anxiety, panic, OCD, bipolar disorder, trauma, emotional regulation and self-esteem. I offer functional assessments of behaviour in children, to facilitate understanding and management of this. I also offer modified therapeutic interventions to support clients to understand their diagnosis of autism and related emotional well-being.

I am empathetic and non-judgmental. I offer safe space to share and understand ongoing difficulties with the aim of helping to alleviate ongoing distress and develop effective coping strategies. I work using an integrative style, drawing multiple treatment models including CBT, ACT, CFT, DBT, and Trauma Focused CBT.

HCPC

Health and Care Professions Council

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.
