About me

I'm a person-centred psychotherapist, which means our work together is a collaborative relationship focused on understanding how things are for you. I believe what matters is how you perceive your inner world and experiences, rather than anyone else.

When life feels challenging, it can be hard to manage or make sense of it on your own. But talking openly about your thoughts and feelings in a safe, supportive, and confidential space may help you find a way forward.

My intention is to listen and accompany you in your exploration of your experiences, with genuine curiosity and acceptance, and without judgement or agenda. Everyone’s process is unique, and we’ll be guided by your direction and pace.

By coming to understand yourself, your relationships, and your situation better, you may find more self-acceptance and clarity. And in turn, be able to make more fulfilling choices in your life.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Clinical Diploma and an MSc in Contemporary Person-Centred Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute in London.

As well as private practice, my clinical experience involves work in community-based counselling services across London, supporting clients to understand and work through a wide range of issues.

I follow both the UKCP and BACP Code of Ethics. This includes regular supervision of my work and ongoing professional development.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

Finding the right therapist can be overwhelming, and it takes courage to share what you’re going through with another person.

I’d suggest having an initial assessment session to see how talking to me feels for you. This is time for us to discuss what’s brought you here, whether therapy with me could be helpful for you, and any questions you might have.

From there we can decide whether to continue and agree how we’ll work together.

I’m very happy to answer any questions you have before booking an assessment session. If there’s anything you want to discuss, you can email me or call me on 07403204640. I’ll always try to reply within 24 hours.

All of our contact is confidential.
