About me
My name is Kerry and I'm a BACP registered counsellor.
I will provide you with a confidential space for you to be heard with respect, warmth and empathy. I aim to build trust to help you connect with your experiences and understand your needs. This is a collaborative process. You can share your thoughts and experiences without fear of judgement. It's your time to be able to use as you choose in order to remove blockers and improve the relationship you have with yourself and those around you.
I understand that everyone has their own unique reasons for seeking therapy and it can be a daunting step to find support outside yourself and the people in your life.
I am an integrative therapist which means I incorporate the best methods to suit each person. I believe that therapy should be tailored to the individual in order to achieve the best outcome for their needs and goals.
I aim to empower people to make connections between thought patterns and behaviours in order to make positive changes in their lives.
I offer 50-minute online sessions in a confidential, empathetic and non-judgmental environment.
I will help you explore your past, present and hopes for the future at your pace. We will collaborate together to achieve your desired outcome.
I have worked with self-esteem issues, stress, anxiety, relationship problems, bereavement, emotional abuse, childhood issues, parenting issues, LGBTQ+ individuals, Menopause and many other areas.
I aim to respect diversity and difference, ensuring that the therapy and workshops I provide will honour each individuals lived experiences and be tailored to their needs to ensure the best outcome for their goals. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic space for all.
I have a Level 5 Dilploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
I also have a certificate in Couples Counselling, Level 2 in Understanding Autism and accredited training in Menopause.
Training, qualifications & experience

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
