About me

I am an accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapist with 25 years’ experience as a specialist in psychology services within the NHS. I am an experienced CBT practice supervisor, educator and trainer within higher education.

We can meet in a comfortable and confidential setting where you will feel relaxed and supported to be able to think about the difficulties that you are having.

I have a background in working with adults and adolescents who have experienced severe mental health difficulties, including trauma, anxiety and low mood. If you find these or related problems are causing you difficulties in your daily life, then please get in touch. I often work successfully with people who have problems that they feel are long term, or who have had unsuccessful therapy before.

I am happy to discuss your difficulties with you if you feel that I might be able to help, so please use the contact details below to request a 20-minute free telephone consultation.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
