About me

Welcome. If you are here you are likely in some distress. Your pain and your struggles matter, and I am glad you are seeking support.

Working collaboratively, we would explore what is bothering you. I offer a safe, warm and non-judgemental space in which you can talk and gain some understanding about what is going on for you. This way of working can help you to feel better and support you to move towards the life you want for yourself. I believe strongly that you are best placed to understand what it is you need, and that together we can help you to gain clarity and begin the healing process.

I realise that it may be difficult to choose between so many professionals, particularly when you may already be feeling overwhelmed by your problems. For this reason, I am always happy to offer a free half hour either in person or on the phone. My hope is that this time will help you to get a sense of how I work and whether we will be able to work effectively together.

If you decide you would like to work with me, please get in touch either through my website or using the details provided here.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
