What to Expect in Your First Session
Our first session will give you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have and for me to gather a little information from you and to explain in more depth the counselling process and confidentiality. It also involves an 'Agreement to Work' that lays out the boundaries of counselling so that everything is clear right from the start. It is an opportunity for you to see if I am the right counsellor for you and if I can offer what you are looking for. I do not make a charge for first appointments as I believe it is important to find the right person to work with and a pre counselling meeting is a shared opportunity to establish need and formulate working arrangements.
I work from my own home that provides a warm and welcoming setting with easy parking and easy access. Public transport is easy to the area and there is also a train stop within the area I operate. I work with people both on a short and long term basis. Counselling sessions are strictly confidential and professional and when we meet we will discuss and agree the arrangements for the counselling. There is no fee for the first 30 minutes of us meeting as I believe that it is important that you find the right person to work
Please contact me if you have any questions or wish to make a none committal appointment.
