About me

There are times when we may run into unexpected problems in life. We experience moments of sadness, anger, and loneliness that stop us so much that we are overwhelmed by our worries and even forget how we were before.

My approach to counselling is based on working with you, clarifying what is overwhelming, and exploring to make positive and meaningful changes in your life. It can be an opportunity to improve your understanding, gaining positive insight, and to heal yourself holistically to move forward to your authentic journey.

Counselling is about you to process whatever you would like to bring, and we could work together to understand your potential, yourself, and uncover tools to move forward to your life. Any concerns about partnerships, work, family relationships, anxiety, stress, depression, bereavement etc., you can discuss confidentially. I think it can be uneasy to find a right counsellor for you, therefore, I offer you the initial consultation (consultation lasts about 20 minutes free of charge). There you will have the opportunity to ask questions and suggest problem areas.

I promise that everything you talk to me will be heard unconditionally and with deep compassionate warmth. I am based on an empathic and sensitive harmony about what you are experiencing and you will come across both honesty and an open mind. I provide a space where you can work together and build connections, using preferred approaches and techniques to suit your needs and goals.

I am based in a quiet, privacy-friendly counselling room. Since the current COVID-19 social distance measures are still in place, I can provide face-to-face, zoom and telephone counselling. The therapy room is a safe place to keep a social distance of 2 meters.

Aa a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I am bound by the BACP Ethics Framework for Good Practices in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Therefore, I have regular supervision and CPD. She also holds the current Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Certificate and is insured for professional liability insurance.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
