About me
Every day living can be overwhelming for everyone. Are you feeling that life is getting on top of you? Is there a gap between what you want and what you've got? Are you feeling physically / emotionally tired at your work or in your relationships? Or you want to live a great life and achieve great things? We can work together to make sense of these experiences and how you can use them in order to challenge self-limiting beliefs and make the progress you want. We will work together within the framework of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy.
I am a senior psychotherapist and supervisor in an NHS specialist service that offers treatment to people with chronic mental health difficulties and personality disorders. Over the years, I have worked with the whole spectrum of mental health difficulties from mild to severe depression and anxiety. I have an interest in Post-traumatic Stress Disorder and especially in guilt and shame based PTSD.
I am a warm-natured person and I enjoy the work I do. I am genuinely interested in listening to you and working together towards reaching your goals. I have a firm commitment to using clinical and research evidence to inform treatments I use. We will work out together which is the most appropriate treatment for you.

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
