About me

Are you feeling anxious and overwhelmed at the moment? Do you feel like you would like to make some changes in your life, but you feel unsure about where to begin? Maybe you are feeling low and are experiencing difficulties in your relationships and need to talk through what's happening? Perhaps you have you been through something traumatic, such as emotional or physical abuse, and need a safe supportive space?

Hello there, I'm Fran. I provide a non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings, and to look at what’s happening for you right now, or what has happened to you in the past.I’m here to support you and work with you to help you make sense of your feelings. My focus is on supporting and empowering you. I go at your pace, meeting you with warmth, kindness and understanding; supporting you to build confidence and self-esteem, and helping you to identify and meet your own needs.

Like many others, I have experienced relationship difficulties, bereavement, trauma and health issues. I have felt low, anxious, insecure, stuck and lonely. I have had therapy myself, and so I know how it feels to be vulnerable; sharing difficult thoughts and feelings with someone I don't know. My training has provided me with the skills and knowledge to work with you and help you to process difficult thoughts and feelings.

I work with adults (18+) who are experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, bereavement, domestic abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse and relationship difficulties.

You have a choice of where we work together:

  • Face-to-face at the Wetmore Clinic near Ludlow, Shropshire
  • Outdoor therapy (walk and talk) near Ludlow, Shropshire
  • Online - anywhere in the UK.

So you can take your pick and choose an environment that works best for you.

Would you like to find out more? I welcome you to get in touch and we can see if we're a good fit for one another!

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
